Let’s talk about your holistic travel kit!

Thank you for your purchase!

It can feel so stressful to be traveling and find yourself dealing with things like an upset belly, bug bites, or jittery flight nerves. We’ve been there! Having helpful items for these situations on hand can make or break your fun adventures. That’s why we created the Holistic Travel Kit! It includes seven products that help cover a variety of potential issues you might run into while traveling.

Instead of worrying about packing everything and the kitchen sink, the kit prioritizes supporting more of the common travel issues like digestive upset, motion sickness, stress, insect bites, constipation, chlorine exposure, and more. Each of the items has been created and handmade using high-quality ingredients through a small business we’ve partned with. You can learn more about Bee below!

Heal Everything Balm

All-purpose natural salve

With all its uses, the Heal Everything Balm was a must for the holistic travel kit! It covers a wide range of uses. This balm may come in handy for things like:

  • rashes, minor wounds, blisters, irritation
  • soothing insect bites
  • for calming diaper rash
  • It can also be used for minimal sun covering in a pinch

A little about the product: Bee’s original Heal Everything Balm came about while she was pregnant with her youngest child in 2017. It was her third baby and she wanted a balm that was as  multi-purpose and as safe as possible. The goal was to make it gentle enough to be put on a scratch near a baby’s eye or to be accidentally ingested without issue. She also wanted a diaper cream, sunscreen/after sun, as well as something easy to use for minor cuts/scrapes. For this kit, we wanted to create a special version of Heal Everything Balm. This version was created without the use of essential oils. Those sensitive to essential oils may find this milder and more easily tolerated.

Suggested use: This all natural, baby-safe balm serves many purposes. A small mount can be applied on minor wounds, rashes, bug bites, dry skin, bruises and blisters.

A Peaceful, Easy Feeling

A soothing blend to encourage a calm state of mind

For many, traveling can cause stress. It isn’t always easy to be out of your normal routine! The name of this tincture speaks for itself! Just a few drops may help with:

  • settling flight anxiety or related travel nerves
  • keeping stress and overwhelm in check
  • supporting general nervous system regulation

Don’t let overwhelm ruin your trip!

A little about some of the star ingredients: Chamomile is one of the most overlooked and simple adaptogens out there. It is gentle but very potent and effective. Chamomile is helpful for managing stress, as well as pain and inflammation. It is particularly effective for blood type A (a large part of the population). Lemon balm (melissa) is known to ‘chase away melancholy’ and has been used for thousands of years for nervous exhaustion with very few side effects. It isn’t uncommon to be given in tandem with chamomile and catnip to fussy babies. Lavender combined with mint and tulsi is a powerful sedative and is used often for insomnia. Bay leaves are very soothing to the nervous system, helpful for managing pain, boosting immunity, and calming a cough.

Suggested use: Try a few drops at the onset of stress, before bed or for general nervous system regulation

 Tummy Trouble

A gentle blend to support digestive processes

Being outside of your normal routine can be a struggle, and so can eating. Tummy Trouble is one of Bee’s OG products- she started making it eight years ago! Tummy Trouble may help settle:

  • digestive disruption
  • upset stomach
  • food poisoning
  • cramps
  • nausea
  • motion-sickness

A little about some of the star ingredients: Ginger has been shown to reduce inflammation, help repair damaged joints and improve circulation, and blood flow. It is an effective remedy for nausea, motion sickness, and seasickness. Fennel is incredibly helpful for aiding in digestion and soothing upset stomachs. In many cultures, fennel seeds are chewed on after a heavy meal! It also is wonderful for the skin, and bone health. Peppermint is an antispasmodic-helping muscles relax, reducing cramping and vomiting. It is a natural antiseptic and has an array of nutrients including calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Suggested use: Take a few drops or up to a dropper full under the tongue or in water at the onset of an upset stomach, nausea, or cramps.

Good – to – Go

A gentle blend to promote regularity

When it comes to long trips, staying regular while on the go can be a struggle! Supporting drainage pathways (like bowel regularity) is important for reducing toxin accumulation and supporting the body as a whole. This tincture may help with discomfort that comes with:

  • constipation
  • promoting bowel regularity
  • easing GI inflammation

A little about the star ingredient: Triphala has a nourishing effect on the stomach and digestive system. Many bowel movers either contain stomach irritants that empty the bowels or are contraindicated for pregnant and nursing moms and kids. Triphala is a fruit blend generally considered safe for everyone and works constitutionally to move waste in the intestines, stimulate bile production and improve blood circulation. It’s traditionally used as a natural weight loss remedy and improves vision & cognitive function, immunity against infections, and lowers stress. It’s also wonderful for your hair, skin and nails! Ginger, chamomile, and marshmallow root are excellent support to triphala, coating and soothing every step of the way.

Suggested use: Take a few drops or up to a dropper full in water/liquid as needed to promoted regularity.

Multivitamin  Minerals

Great addition for general mineral support

Add a few drops to your water to help stay hydrated and supported, especially on those summer adventures! Multivitamin Minerals is great for

  • supportive hydration
  • vitamin & mineral support

As a Doula, Bee initially made this tincture as prenatal & postpartum supplement. The more she learned about herbs with excellent multivitamin profiles and mineral content, she realized it was for the whole family.

A little about some of the star ingredients: Nettle has been highly regarded by ancient cultures who have used it extensively in their food and medicine. It’s an amazing remedy for an array of things (gout, arthritis, anemia, exhaustion, histamine and allergy issues, and menstrual discomfort). Because nettle is drying, it’s paired with rose hips and oat tops. Rose hips are one of nature’s highest sources of vitamin C-20xs more than lemons! It is also high in vitamin A, and trace elements like zinc and copper. Oat tops are extremely nutrient-dense, anti-inflammatory and nourishing to the nervous system. They are really great paired with lemon balm (melissa) to reduce stress on a cellular level (especially for children). Dandelion is a classic liver tonic, blood purifier, and mineral powerhouse, and is high in potassium, iron, and calcium, as well as a rich source of trace minerals. Alfalfa has a multivitamin profile- it’s high in vitamin K and C. Lowers cholesterol and encourages strong nails and healthy hair. Moringa is a supergreen that is more nutritious than kale and more anti-inflammatory than turmeric. It is also a source of iron. Moringa is an amazing nutrient for new mothers to consume and can feel good about. Lemon balm is one of the gentlest, most supportive herbs to the nervous system. It is commonly used to treat heartache and depression, colic and nutrient deficiencies.

Suggested use: Add a few drops to your water or a liquid throughout the day for a remineralizing boost.

Bug Spray

Help keep pesky insects at bay

This non-toxic bug spray may come in clutch for those outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and more. This spray can be used liberally to deter bugs, mosquitoes, and ticks.

This bug spray is truly one of a kind- it contains no essential oils. Several plants that dealt with a variety of different bugs (mosquitoes, ticks, ants, etc) were soaked in organic olive oil for a few months and combined with andrographis tincture, a basil infusion, neem oil, and some homemade vanilla extract.

Suggested use: SHAKE WELL (there are no emulsifiers or preservatives in this blend and it needs to be shaken well the first several times used) and spray to help ward off pesky bugs while you’re on adventures.

After Chlorine Spray

for post-pool use to reduce impact of chlorine

Applied after a dip in chlorinated pools, After Chlorine Spray may help minimize the impact of chlorine.

A little about some star ingredients: Bladderwrack is an herb that can be used as an iodine source. It is full of not only iodine but antioxidants and chlorophyll. It contains large amounts of minerals and is very supportive to the thyroid and blood type Os, as they used to thrive on seaweeds. It is wonderfully nourishing to the skin and, paired with castor oil, can be applied topically to reduce and remove unwanted contaminants.

Suggested use: After swimming in a chlorinated pool, spray directly on the skin & thyroid/neck.
